Animato is the perfect synthesis of two key concepts that define the identity of our Caluso Passito: Anima (Soul) and Torino.

On one hand, the name evokes the deepest, most intimate and noble Soul of our Erbaluce grape variety; an essence revealed only through the slow ritual of drying on the wires, where the grapes concentrate and transform. On the other, it pays homage to our territorial roots, binding itself indissolubly to Caluso and the province of Turin — cradle of elegance, history and Savoyard culture.

“Animato” is therefore not just a name, but a declaration of intent: a wine of lively and vibrant character, capable of capturing in the glass the authentic spirit, the refinement and the pulsating energy of the Turin territory.

• The drying wires: The lines represent the metal wires or structures from which the Erbaluce grape clusters are hung during the traditional drying process. The connection with time — the verticality — suggests the suspension and waiting necessary for the grapes to reach the right sugar concentration.
